    Vinification and aging

    Winemaking at Château Latour It is a meticulous art, blending tradition and innovation. The grapes are harvested by hand, then carefully sorted to retain only the very best. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, allowing for precise temperature control. Aging occurs in oak barrels, a percentage of which are new, for a period of 18 to 24 months. This aging period allows the tannins to soften and the oak aromas to subtly integrate, while preserving the identity of the terroir.
