THE Domaine Peyre Rose is one of the most iconic properties of Languedoc. Founded by Marlène Soria in the early years 1980, THE domaine is located in the hills above Saint-Pargoire, in the heart of a garrigue landscape. A pioneer in its pursuit of quality, Peyre Rose is renowned for its very low yields, exceptionally long aging periods, and artisanal approach. The wines are only released after many years of maturation, offering a rare expression of their terroir. Oro Blanc 2011 This philosophy is perfectly illustrated with a great white wine for aging, complex, precise and profoundly elegant.

Tasting notes
The wine displays a superb, deep gold color with amber highlights. The nose reveals great complexity, blending dried fruit, apricot, candied citrus, hazelnut, garrigue herbs, and mineral notes. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, profound, and perfectly balanced by a persistent freshness. Flavors of stone fruit, sweet spices, and citrus zest linger in a long, saline, and exceptionally refined finish.
