This artisanal and attentive approach allows Felton Road to stand out on the international wine scene.

Vinification and aging

The Bannockburn Pinot Noir 2021 is crafted with the utmost respect for the grapes. After a manual harvest, the bunches are carefully sorted. Fermentation takes place in open vats, allowing for a gentle extraction of aromas and tannins. The wine is then aged in oak barrels, some of which are new, for 10 to 12 months. This meticulous process allows the oak notes to integrate harmoniously while preserving the purity of the fruit. The result is a balanced wine that reveals the full richness of the Central Otago terroir.
